Description

A delicious and easy dish featuring shrimp coated in a sweet honey garlic sauce, packed with protein.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 23 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the shrimp: Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Make the sauce: In a bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. Whisk in cornstarch if thickening is desired.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat until sizzling.
  4. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Glaze the shrimp with the sauce, tossing until coated, and let bubble for a couple more minutes.
  6. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve over rice, tacos, or on a salad. Drizzle more honey on top for extra sweetness.
