A creamy and comforting Beef Stroganoff recipe that is quick and easy to prepare, perfect for any dinner occasion.

- 1 pound beef (sirloin or tenderloin)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or rice to serve
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper, add to the skillet, and cook until browned (about 4-5 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until soft (about 3 minutes), then add mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Sprinkle in flour and stir. Gradually add beef broth, stirring until combined. Bring back the beef and stir in the sour cream.
- Let it simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve over hot noodles or rice, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For an extra kick, add paprika or Worcestershire sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
