Ingredients

  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract, until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop the cookie dough onto a lined cookie sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
