Description

Delightful white peppermint cookies, perfect for any festive occasion with a refreshing minty flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy cane pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Fold in the white chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Scoop dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space to spread. Bake for about 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden.
  6. Allow cooling on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For extra peppermint flavor, add a drop of peppermint extract. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
