Description

A delicious and hearty Smash Burger Bowl that combines the classic flavors of a smash burger with fresh veggies and toppings, all served in a convenient bowl.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 cup Rice or Quinoa
  • 2 cups Lettuce (Iceberg or Romaine)
  • 1 cup Tomatoes (Diced or Sliced)
  • 1 Onion (Raw or Caramelized)
  • 1 cup Cheese (Cheddar, American, or any melty cheese)
  • 1 cup Pickles
  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat your skillet and get it nice and hot for the beef.
  2. Divide the ground beef into balls (about 3-4 ounces each) and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the beef balls in the skillet, smash them down with a spatula, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side. Flip and add cheese.
  4. While the beef cooks, make a quick batch of rice or quinoa as per package instructions.
  5. Once the rice or quinoa is ready, fluff it up and season lightly.
  6. Start by spooning your base (rice/quinoa) into a bowl.
  7. Layer on the crispy lettuce, followed by the smash burgers, and toss in your tomatoes, onions, pickles, and other toppings.
  8. Drizzle your favorite sauce over the top, mixing ketchup, mayo, and mustard for extra zing.
  9. Now, dig in and enjoy!
