Description

A comforting dish featuring juicy chicken, colorful veggies, and a rich, buttery sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, diced
  • 1 Bell Pepper of each color, sliced
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • Garlic Powder, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat, then add the diced chicken. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and seasoning of choice. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Stir and cook until the veggies are tender, around 5 minutes.
  3. Lower heat to medium-low. Pour in the heavy cream and add the remaining butter. Stir until well combined and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Serve hot in the skillet, ideally paired with rice, mashed potatoes, or bread to soak up the sauce.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider grilled chicken and half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
