Effortless and delicious teriyaki meatballs made in a slow cooker, perfect for those lazy days.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1/4 cup honey (or brown sugar)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a tray.
- (Optional) Pan-sear the meatballs for a couple of minutes until golden brown.
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for about 6 hours or high for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Check for doneness; meatballs should be glazed and cooked through.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or slow cooker.
