Description
A hearty, healthy slow cooker sweet potato turkey chili packed with lean protein, beans, and warm spices.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 sweet potatoes
1 onion
1 bell pepper
3 garlic cloves
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 cups chicken broth
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt, pepper
Olive oil
Cilantro, avocado
Instructions
1. Brown turkey in olive oil.
2. Add all ingredients to slow cooker.
3. Cook on LOW 6–8 hrs or HIGH 3–4 hrs.
4. Adjust seasoning.
5. Serve with cilantro and avocado.
