- 2 lbs ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 green bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 4 large hoagie rolls, split
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Place ribeye steak, onions, and bell peppers in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the meat and vegetables.
- Pour beef broth over everything.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Preheat the oven broiler.
- Use a slotted spoon to fill the hoagie rolls with the meat mixture.
- Top each sandwich with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and broil for 1-2 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
