Description
Tender shredded chicken simmered in rich marinara sauce, tossed with pasta and melted cheese — a comforting Italian-style slow cooker meal.
Ingredients
1 ½ lbs chicken breasts
24 oz marinara sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 cup mozzarella
½ cup Parmesan
8 oz pasta
2 tbsp basil
Instructions
1. Add chicken and sauce to slow cooker with seasoning.
2. Cook 5–6 hours on LOW.
3. Shred chicken and mix back in.
4. Add cheese and cooked pasta.
5. Heat until melted and serve.
Notes
Use whole-grain pasta for extra fiber.
Add chili flakes for heat.
Freeze leftovers for quick lunches.
