Description
Classic buttery shortbread Christmas cookies that melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
½ cup sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Holiday sprinkles
Instructions
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add vanilla and mix well.
3. Add flour and salt; mix until dough forms.
4. Roll between parchment sheets and chill 30 minutes.
5. Cut into shapes and decorate.
6. Bake at 325°F for 12–15 minutes.
