Description

A quick and satisfying sheet pan dinner featuring juicy sausage, roasted sweet potatoes, and a delightful honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 lb sausage (Italian, chicken, or turkey)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Chop the sweet potatoes into roughly equal-sized pieces.
  3. Mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  4. Toss the sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then arrange on one side of a sheet pan.
  5. Lay the sausage pieces on the other side of the sheet pan.
  6. Drizzle the honey garlic sauce over both the sweet potatoes and sausage.
  7. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sweet potatoes are tender and sausage is cooked.
  8. Garnish with parsley, if desired.

Notes

Optional: Add broccoli florets during the last 10 minutes of baking for added greens.
