Description

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized ripe pears
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup freshly shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim off the stems and remove any yellow leaves from the Brussels sprouts, then shave them into thin ribbons using a knife or mandoline.
  2. Cut the pears in half, remove the core, and slice them thinly, keeping the skin on for added texture.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shaved Brussels sprouts, pear slices, and nuts (if using).
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, then drizzle over the salad and gently toss to combine.
  5. Add shaved Parmesan cheese on top and serve immediately or let it chill for about 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
