Ingredients

- 500g minced beef or lamb (or turkey or chicken)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 cup peas (frozen)
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup beef or chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Heat a splash of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Add the minced meat and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Toss in the carrots and peas, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Add tomato paste, broth, Worcestershire sauce, and season to taste. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve over mash, in a pie, or however you prefer.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs and customizing with spices. This dish can easily be frozen for later use.
