Description

A creamy, lemony linguine dish with silky smoked salmon and fresh spinach that’s easy to make and impressive to serve.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 grams linguine
  • 150 grams smoked salmon, cut into strips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnishing
  • Parmesan cheese, optional
  • Capers, optional

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine by boiling a pot of salted water. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water, drain the rest, and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute, until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice. Stir and let it simmer for about three minutes until it thickens.
  4. Add the cooked linguine into the sauce. Toss to coat and then mix in the smoked salmon and spinach, using reserved pasta water for consistency if needed.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and optional Parmesan. Plate and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality smoked salmon for the best flavor. Don’t skip the lemon, as it brightens the dish!
