Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Egg noodles (or your favorite pasta)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Once browned, drain excess grease, then add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well, cooking for about 2 minutes.
  5. Gradually whisk in beef broth, soy sauce, and paprika. Bring to a gentle simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Lower heat and stir in sour cream, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. In a separate pot, boil water and cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse.
  8. Combine the sauce with the cooked noodles in the skillet and toss gently.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Fresh ingredients are recommended for best flavor. Frozen veggies can be used as a substitute. Add cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
