- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Egg noodles (or your favorite pasta)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Once browned, drain excess grease, then add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well, cooking for about 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth, soy sauce, and paprika. Bring to a gentle simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Lower heat and stir in sour cream, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a separate pot, boil water and cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse.
- Combine the sauce with the cooked noodles in the skillet and toss gently.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Fresh ingredients are recommended for best flavor. Frozen veggies can be used as a substitute. Add cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
