Description

Delicious and comforting chicken pillows filled with shredded chicken and cream cheese, all enveloped in flaky crescent roll dough, topped with a creamy Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • Crescent roll dough
  • Shredded cooked chicken
  • Cream cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Chicken broth
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to make the filling.
  2. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wider end of each triangle, then fold and seal.
  4. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then whisk in flour to create a roux.
  7. Gradually add chicken broth, whisking to avoid lumps, and cook until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  8. Stir in shredded Parmesan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve chicken pillows with the creamy Parmesan sauce poured over them.
