Description

Delicious meatballs paired with a sweet and tangy cranberry barbecue sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 jar (about 16 oz) cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix gently with hands.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake meatballs for about 20 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce. Stir until simmering.
  5. Toss cooked meatballs in the cranberry barbecue sauce until well coated. Serve immediately or keep warm on the stove.

Notes

For a fancy touch, add a sprig of parsley on top for decoration.
