Description

A quick and delicious dinner featuring salmon topped with a sweet and tangy pineapple glaze.

Ingredients

  • Fresh salmon fillets
  • Fresh pineapple or canned pineapple rings
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey or maple syrup
  • Garlic (fresh or powder)
  • Ginger (fresh or ground)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pineapple Glaze by chopping fresh pineapple or draining canned pineapple and mixing it with soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and a splash of the pineapple glaze; marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C) and cook the salmon, skin-side down for 6-8 minutes if grilling, or 12-15 minutes if baking, brushing with more glaze halfway through.
  4. Finish by drizzling leftover glaze on top and garnish with chopped green onions.
  5. Serve it up with rice or veggies.

Notes

Choose quality salmon for the best flavor, and don’t overcook to ensure it’s flaky and moist. Experiment with different glazes for added flavor.
