Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy and light.

  4. Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the crushed pineapple.

  7. Bake for about 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving, then top with whipped cream and a slice of fresh pineapple.
