Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Optional: White chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla and baking powder, mixing until combined.
  5. Slowly incorporate flour until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint.
  7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. If desired, drizzle with white chocolate and sprinkle more crushed peppermint on top.

Notes

For best results, crush peppermint candies gently; use a zip-top bag and rolling pin. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
