Description

Delicious brownies topped with festive peppermint bark, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in the sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition and then mix in the vanilla.
  4. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the greased dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
  7. While cooling, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  8. Stir in the crushed peppermint candy and spread over brownies once cooled for 15 minutes.
  9. Let set for a while, then cut into squares.
