- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Drizzle of lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash the asparagus: Rinse under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Trim the ends: Cut off about an inch from the bottom.
- Toss with olive oil: Combine the asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread on a baking sheet: Lay them out evenly.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan generously over the asparagus.
- Give those stalks a shake to ensure even coating.
- Slide the baking sheet into the oven and roast for 12-15 minutes.
- Broil for the last 2 minutes for extra crunch if desired.
