A quick and delicious one-pan dinner that combines tender salmon with a creamy sauce and capers for a flavorful meal.

- 2 salmon fillets (preferably skinless)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Add the salmon skin-side down and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the salmon from the pan and keep it warm.
- Lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the same pan.
- Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and capers. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Season with more salt and pepper if desired.
- Return the salmon to the pan and soak it in the sauce for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
Feel free to substitute salmon with trout or chicken, adjusting cooking times accordingly.
