A simple and flavorful slow cooker dish that transforms a basic pot roast into a comforting meal with Ranch dressing, Au Jus, and pepperoncini.

- 3–5 pounds chuck roast
- 1 packet Ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet Au Jus gravy mix
- 1 stick butter
- 4–6 pepperoncini peppers
- Optional: onions or carrots
Instructions
- Gather your gear: slow cooker, cutting board, and knife.
- Season the roast lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place the roast in the slow cooker, sprinkle Ranch and Au Jus mixes on top, add butter, and toss in pepperoncini peppers.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once done, shred the roast and serve with drippings over your choice of sides or on a bun.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding hot sauce for a spicy kick or vegetables like carrots and potatoes at the beginning of cooking.
