- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and heat it through, then add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined.
- Transfer the floating gnocchi into the sauce with a slotted spoon and gently toss to coat, adding a little cooking water if needed.
- Season with salt and pepper, toss in the chopped basil, and serve hot.
