Description

These Mediterranean Chicken Patties are packed with flavor, easy to make, and perfect for impressing dinner guests or enjoying a solo meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, oregano, and cumin. Add the egg and season with salt and pepper, then mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into patties about 1 inch thick.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Cook the patties for about 5–7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Once cooked, let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving with tzatziki sauce, salad, or in a pita.

Notes

For firmer patties, chill the mixture for 30 minutes before forming. You can add finely chopped veggies for extra nutrition.
