These Mediterranean Chicken Patties are packed with flavor, easy to make, and perfect for impressing dinner guests or enjoying a solo meal.

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, oregano, and cumin. Add the egg and season with salt and pepper, then mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties about 1 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Cook the patties for about 5–7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving with tzatziki sauce, salad, or in a pita.
Notes
For firmer patties, chill the mixture for 30 minutes before forming. You can add finely chopped veggies for extra nutrition.
