- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter with both sugars until light and fluffy (about 2โ3 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, and mix until smooth.
- Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt, then add to the wet mixture in two additions, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows gently.
- Scoop dough into 2-tablespoon portions and place them 2 inches apart on your baking sheets.
- Bake for 9โ11 minutes until edges look set but centers still look slightly underdone.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Serve warm with milk or coffee. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
