Ingredients

  • 1 cup finely chopped apples (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions (optional)

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix all the chicken apple patty ingredients in a large bowl and shape into burger-sized patties.
  2. Chill the patties in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  3. Whisk together maple syrup, mustard, and apple cider vinegar to make the sauce.
  4. Preheat the grill or skillet to medium heat and cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until they reach 165°F internal temperature.
