Description

Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with creamy brie cheese and sweet apples, all drizzled in a delightful maple glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup brie cheese, chopped
  • 1 cup apples, diced (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Butterfly the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix the chopped brie, diced apples, and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup.
  4. Stuff the chicken breasts with the apple-brie mixture and secure if needed.
  5. Sear the chicken in an oven-safe skillet with olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Mix the remaining maple syrup and Dijon mustard, then drizzle over the seared chicken.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving with any leftover glaze.

Notes

Let the brie come to room temperature before cooking. You can prep the chicken and stuffing ahead of time.
