Description

A tender and flavorful salmon dish cooked in a rich, creamy lemon butter sauce using a slow cooker.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin removed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, chopped dill, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Lay the salmon fillets in a single layer in the slow cooker.
  5. Pour the lemon butter sauce evenly over the top of the salmon.
  6. Place thin lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
  7. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Carefully remove the salmon with a spatula and spoon the creamy lemon sauce over the top to serve.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute olive oil for butter and vegetable broth for a dairy-free option. Always thaw frozen salmon completely before cooking.
