Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece ginger, minced (or powdered)
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)
- Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish
- Veggies of your choice (broccoli, carrots, or bell peppers)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet and brown the ground beef (or turkey), breaking it up with a spoon.
- Add in the onion, garlic, and ginger; cook until onions are soft.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil; let simmer for a few minutes.
- Assemble the bowl with rice, beef mixture, and veggies; garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Enjoy!
Notes
Use quality beef for better flavor. Feel free to add kimchi or pickled vegetables as toppings.
