Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of flour (whole wheat or all-purpose)
  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 1 cup of fresh spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning
  • Optional: shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, spinach, and egg.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients.
  4. Mix everything until you have a smooth dough; adjust with more flour or water as needed.
  5. Shape a handful of dough into a ball and poke a hole in the middle to form a bagel.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with sesame seeds or seasoning if desired. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
