Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop dough balls onto a lined baking sheet and space them out.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers look slightly underbaked.
- Let cookies cool before transferring to a wire rack.
- Sprinkle a thin layer of granulated sugar on cooled cookies and caramelize using a kitchen torch.
