  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • Optional: a sprinkle of herbs (rosemary, thyme)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and sear the beef cubes until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  2. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of red wine; cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in beef broth, add carrots, potatoes, fresh herbs, and season with salt and pepper.
