Description

A quick and delightful recipe for midnight pasta that feels gourmet without the fuss.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • A handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain without rinsing.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté sliced garlic with red pepper flakes until golden.
  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the skillet. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
  5. Add chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Plate the pasta and generously sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Feel free to add cherry tomatoes, spinach, or grilled chicken/shrimp for extra flavor.
