Ingredients
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp raw or local honey
1 slice fresh lemon
2 slices fresh ginger (optional)
1 pinch cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
1. Pour warm water into a cup.
2. Add honey and stir until fully dissolved.
3. Squeeze lemon juice into the cup.
4. Add ginger slices and a pinch of cinnamon if desired.
5. Sip slowly and enjoy warm.
Notes
Do not use boiling water to preserve honey’s natural enzymes.
