- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ¾ cup honey mustard sauce
- 8 mini slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- Optional: Cheddar or Swiss cheese
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Cut chicken breasts into slider-sized pieces.
- Marinate: Coat the chicken in honey mustard sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a splash of oil.
- Cook: Add marinated chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Optional: Sprinkle cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
- Slice the buns in half and toast if desired.
- Layer cooked chicken, lettuce, and tomato on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with more honey mustard and place the top half of the bun on.
Notes
For a spicy kick, mix sriracha with honey mustard. Consider adding avocado or jalapeños for extra flavor.
