Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup honey mustard sauce
  • 8 mini slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • Optional: Cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Cut chicken breasts into slider-sized pieces.
  2. Marinate: Coat the chicken in honey mustard sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a splash of oil.
  4. Cook: Add marinated chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
  6. Slice the buns in half and toast if desired.
  7. Layer cooked chicken, lettuce, and tomato on the bottom half of each bun.
  8. Top with more honey mustard and place the top half of the bun on.

Notes
