- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Optional: green onions, sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- If baking, place the marinated chicken on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- If using a skillet, cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drizzle any leftover marinade over the cooked chicken and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Notes
Let the chicken cool down to room temperature before storing in an airtight container. It stays fresh in the fridge for 3-4 days or can be frozen for longer storage.
