Description

Delicious and comforting honey garlic chicken breasts that are sweet, savory, and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional: green onions, sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. If baking, place the marinated chicken on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. If using a skillet, cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle any leftover marinade over the cooked chicken and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Notes

Let the chicken cool down to room temperature before storing in an airtight container. It stays fresh in the fridge for 3-4 days or can be frozen for longer storage.
