Description

A light and satisfying dessert combining flavored gelatin with Greek yogurt for a creamy, protein-packed treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (3 oz) flavored gelatin โ€” any flavor
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt โ€” full-fat or nonfat
  • Sweetener (optional) โ€” honey, maple syrup, or a sugar substitute
  • Fresh fruit or nuts (optional) โ€” for texture and presentation

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin: Pour the gelatin into a heatproof bowl and add 1 cup hot water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Cool it: Add 1 cup cold water and stir to lower the temperature. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix in yogurt: Whisk 1 cup Greek yogurt into the gelatin until smooth. Add sweetener if you want it sweeter.
  4. Add extras: Fold in fresh berries or a handful of chopped nuts if you like texture.
  5. Chill: Pour into serving dishes and refrigerate for 2โ€“4 hours until set.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fruit, mint, or a dusting of cocoa.

Notes

Do not add yogurt to piping hot gelatin; it will clump. Whisk vigorously to prevent lumps. Taste before chilling and adjust sweetness.
