Description

A sweet and savory dish combining meatballs with a sticky grape jelly sauce, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar (about 12 oz) grape jelly
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, and egg, mixing until well blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and browning nicely.
  5. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the grape jelly and barbecue sauce, stirring until smooth.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the sauce and serve either immediately or glaze in the oven for a few more minutes.
