- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 jar (about 12 oz) grape jelly
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, and egg, mixing until well blended.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and browning nicely.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine the grape jelly and barbecue sauce, stirring until smooth.
- Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the sauce and serve either immediately or glaze in the oven for a few more minutes.
Notes
Frozen meatballs can be used for convenience; try different jellies for varied flavors.
