Description

A decadent dish featuring juicy steak smothered in a creamy, cheesy garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 30 minutes and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  3. Place the steaks in the pan, sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. Add the garlic butter to the pan and spoon over the steaks. Remove them and let rest.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds, then pour in heavy cream and simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Slice rested steaks, plate them, drizzle with Parmesan cream sauce, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For a perfect pairing, serve with garlic mashed potatoes or roasted veggies.
