A quick and easy creamy pasta dish with fresh tomatoes and garlic, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

- Spaghetti or fettuccine
- 4–5 medium-sized fresh tomatoes
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water.
- Add your pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve a cup of pasta water and then strain the rest. Set the pasta aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Toss in the minced garlic and sautรฉ until golden and aromatic.
- Add chopped fresh tomatoes and cook until they break down into a sauce, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the cream and let it simmer for a minute.
- Throw in your cooked pasta and the reserved pasta water.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until everything is coated and creamy.
- Taste and adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
- Toss in chopped fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Feel free to add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
