Description

A delicious and easy-to-make fall fruit salad featuring seasonal fruits and a zesty Cinnamon Orange Dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples (Honeycrisp recommended)
  • 2 medium pears (Bartlett or Bosc preferred)
  • 1 juicy orange (for fresh-squeezed juice)
  • 1 cup of pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the fruits into bite-sized pieces (core and dice apples and pears, juice the orange).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey (or maple syrup), ground cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the mixed fruits and gently toss to coat. Let the salad chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  4. Serve the salad on a platter and enjoy with a sprinkle of extra pomegranate seeds on top.
