Description

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Optional: Eggnog frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, eggnog, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough balls onto greased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until light golden brown around the edges.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
