- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup eggnog
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, eggnog, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Scoop dough balls onto greased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until light golden brown around the edges.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
