Ingredients

- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 3 cups shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 cup milk
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, avocado
Instructions
- Boil a pot of water and add a pinch of salt. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, drain excess grease, then mix in the taco seasoning and a bit of water.
- Add the canned tomatoes to the skillet and stir. Pour in the milk and combine.
- Toss in the cooked macaroni and mix until coated.
- Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted. Serve with your favorite toppings.
