Description

A warm, gooey banana cobbler that’s ridiculously easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 overripe bananas
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the bananas, placing them at the bottom of a greased baking dish, and smash them slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir gently.
  4. Pour the batter over the bananas in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes, then serve warm, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Feel free to add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
