Description

A comforting bowl of rich broth loaded with delicious dumplings, fresh veggies, and a kickoff of chili flakes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Frozen dumplings
  • 1 liter chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Mixed vegetables (carrots, bok choy, mushrooms)
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Optional: chili flakes or sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for about a minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the broth and add a splash of soy sauce. Optionally, add sesame oil. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add the frozen dumplings and vegetables. Cover the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes until dumplings are cooked through and veggies are tender.
  4. Chop green onions and sprinkle over each bowl. Add chili flakes if desired.
  5. Ladle the soup into bowls and enjoy!

Notes

Use homemade broth if possible for better flavor. Mix dumpling styles for a variety of tastes.
