Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups peeled and sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples and cranberries with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt; toss until coated.
  3. Transfer the fruit mixture to a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together oats, flour, and brown sugar.
  5. Chop cold butter into small cubes, mix with the dry ingredients until crumbly.
  6. Spread the topping evenly over the fruit mixture.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
