Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 cups Potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Optional Spices: thyme, rosemary, or oregano

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until it’s no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer It Up: Transfer the browned beef to your crockpot and layer on the diced potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic.
  3. Add Broth: Pour in the beef broth, making sure all the veggies are submerged.
  4. Set It and Forget It: Put the lid on and set the crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Finish It Off: Once cooked, stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Ladle into bowls and garnish with extra cheese or crispy bacon pieces.
